We have now lived here for over a month, slowly getting used to it, to the silence on sunday afternoons, the late nights out during the week, the impossibility to do anything the next day except watching 3 DVDs in 7hrs...
Our pool is very nice, in the middle of our house. Not only will it be nice to SWIM in summertime, but for now -yes its wintertime, ok ok- we have a little pond. We can't empty it, it's broken, so animals now live in it. Until very recently Peter, or Giacomo the cricket was rythming our lives with that summery but repetitive noise crickets make. We suspect many more, and more silent, creatures live in there, as Helena has been under constant attack by mosquitoes. We are however hoping all these species will gang up against the cockroaches and destroy them, because we can't.
So the queso castle consists of Alec, Helena (Heladactyle), Chloe (Shhhloway) and Tim (Pym Pym Pym), ALec doesn't have a nick name cos he is by far the best person in the house (you will have guessed this is Alec's (MCL) contribution OF THE DAY) and i respect him far to much to place a stupid name on his shoulders. We are all from the university of Bath, apart from Tim who we decided to adopt after finding him stranded, semi naked and running away from coked up transvestites that where atempting to mug him.
Yes.... this was true.

Once upon a time lived three young quesos looking for adventure in faraway lands. They lived very happy lives but as they rolled around town avoiding dog excrements, deep down, they felt their lives were not whole.
One cold winter day, they met a little piece of Dutch queso. It was friendship at first sight. The first time, they were nervous, but soon they were having lots of fun. They therefore decided they should find a home of their own.
After many encounters, disappointments and false hopes it would be too long to even start telling you about, they met Alfredo the Cucaracha. Alfredo was the owner of the "muy lindo muy luminoso" Queso Castle. It was the home of their dreams...
