a looong time has gone by, it is now time for finals, there is not much to do but there is a bit. So it is now the time to develop time-consuming activities that explain why today, again, I will not be doing any work. My blog clearly does need up-dating...
Because for you it is wintertime and I hear echoes of snow temperatures under 0, while I, sitting on the sofa, eating a very ripe apricot, am desperately trying to make that fan reach me at some point of its stupid path. They have predicted 36 degrees all week and there is not much you can do but wait for it to be midnight and just 28 degrees to go out and party. OK OK, but look at that picture can you see the table spoon? Can you see the gigantic cockroach by its side? I had to but my life at risk to get such a shot!!!
With my new job :D :D(Wicked MAG BA or WKD MAG) I went to a Teatro Ciego (Blind theatre), it was weeird, they make you follow a waiter to your table holding his shoulders in a pitch dark room and you sit, they help you to wine, tell you you have 5 courses in front of you, starting left and eating rightwards. So you put your hands in it, feel it, have little idea of what it may be, put it in your mouth praying it won't be vile. But you chew and sometimes its obvious, sometimes you recognise it but just can't put a word on it...
After an hour in the dark, with a woman walking through the tables singing, a piano playing nearby, the waiters coming to help you to more wine... you have a cleat image of what the room looks like, even what your waiter looks like, listening to his voice, touching his hand... Suddenly they turn on a candle, and you are thrown back into reality the dream is over and the room you thought you were in is gone, the waiter is gone and they are all replaced by reality. Which was not as nice, the waiter was NOT good looking the room NOT an old fashioned place with curtains and a stage, the piano was a fingerboard...
Work is going well, not very successful in my task of finding funds to pay for our little "vanguardist and alternative" publication... RATS !
